Farmington High School Building Project Status
Spring 2024
The FHS Building Project continues to make significant progress on the municipal campus and the new building. Highlights of construction include:
The installation of underground utilities, including power, water, and gas from Route 4 running up Monteith Drive, is complete.
Brick masonry and roofing work is complete.
Window installation is complete.
Loading dock sitework preparation work started withgranite curbing and perimeter sidewalks.
Skylight installation in Cafeteria started and will move to Area C next.
Area A: Linoleum flooring in classrooms is installed and continuing in corridor areas, light fixtures are powered, and ceiling tile installation is underway.
Area B: Lab casework countertops are nearing completion.
Area C: Millwork is in progress, ceilings in Auto and Wood Shops are complete with below ceiling mechanicals in progress.
Area D: Painting of ceilings and walls within the gymnasium complete.
Area E: Administration Area drywall nearing completion near windows. Low voltage wiring progressing, and above ceiling MEP rough in work within Auditorium complete and painted. Midlevel work on perimeter walls is progressing and wood panel ceiling clouds build-out in progress.
